Loaded Avocado BLT with Peri Peri and Lime
The ultra-rare perfectly ripe avocado is deserving of a sandwich celebration. I sliced it into an elevated BLT filled with pops of unexpected flavors. If you just found a perfectly ripe gem, give this recipe a whirl!
2 slices of rye, toasted
2 tbsp mayo
1/2 avocado, sliced
Lime wedge
Cracked pepper
Tomato, sliced to 1/4 inch
Lettuce leaf, any type
3 slices of bacon, cooked
Peri peri sauce (or fav hot sauce)
Add mayo to each slice of toasted bread. Next add the avocado on one side and squeeze the lime over it. Crack some black pepper before adding the bacon then tomato and lettuce. Splash peri peri onto the other mayo side before closing up. Slice on the diagonal before serving.
